ABOUT OYC

Outrigger Yacht Club was founded on September 7, 1974, as a virtual yacht club located in North Carolina on Lake Norman. Outrigger Yacht Club (OYC) promotes seamanship and friendly competition with social activities for sailors on Lake Norman, NC.  Membership is affordable and open to anyone with an interest in sailing. OYC's sailboat racing schedule includes Lake Norman's most popular racing events like The Wednesday Night Series,  The Commodore's Cup, The 150 bridge race, as well as other lake-wide regattas and open events.
